HD Landscape Gardeners
A full website rebuild and search structure for a Thames Ditton hard landscaping firm working across Surrey and south west London.
Client - HD Landscape Gardeners

HD Landscape Gardeners are a hard landscaping firm based in Thames Ditton, working across Surrey and south west London. Three crews, eighteen months trading, thirty plus five-star reviews, and an in-house garden designer, which is a real point of difference in a market where most competitors subcontract their design work.
Their existing site was a WordPress template put up in a hurry at launch and never revisited. It looked presentable, but there was no structure behind it: a handful of general pages, and nothing targeting individual services or the towns they cover.
Design
The rebuild is based on their existing brand green, with a palette drawn from the materials they actually lay, porcelain and sandstone tones set against a deep bark green. Instrument Serif is paired with Inter Tight so the site reads considered and residential rather than defaulting to the same typefaces used on every other trade site.
Their strapline, Design-Build-Bloom, became a structural device rather than decoration. It runs as a vertical spine through the homepage and service pages, marking the three stages of how they actually work. It is the one bold element on the site, and everything else stays quiet so the photography carries the page.
The whole build is mobile-first, because that is where the majority of their traffic arrives.
Structure and search
The site went from a handful of pages to a full architecture: every service they offer, every town they work in, area pages, and written-up project case studies. It is generated from structured data files, so adding a new town or service creates its pages automatically and the site can grow month on month without being rebuilt.
Every old page address was mapped and redirected individually, so eighteen months of standing with Google carried across instead of being lost at launch.
Underneath that: server-rendered pages so both Google and the AI search tools can read them properly, unique titles and descriptions throughout, structured business and service markup, and a live sitemap that cannot drift from the actual site.
Enquiry handling
Every route in, form, WhatsApp, email and phone, feeds into a single CRM with automated follow-up and full tracking, so both sides can see exactly what the site is producing.
